Terres de Memoire is a French company specializing in First World War Battlefield tours. We are based in the historic town of Péronne at the heart of the Somme Battlefields.
Sylvestre Bresson, a passionate First World War enthusiast created the business. His aim has always been to facilitate visits to the battlefields – to lesser known, off the beaten track places.

Terres de Memoire is already highly regarded for the quality of its visits. The demand has been so high that Sylvestre now employs extra guides and office staff. All of his employees have been personally chosen by himself and all are extremely knowledgeable, experienced and passionate about their subject.

2010 marks the year that Terres de Memoire will broaden its horizons by offering guided tours to the Gallipoli Battlefields as well as the Western Front. We are absolutely delighted to be able to do this. And, of course, the same rules apply – a service of the highest quality and a very dignified approach to the memory of our nations’ Heroes.

We have chosen to work with one of the leading travel agencies in Turkey, not only for the Gallipoli Battlefields but also for Istanbul, Izmir, Troy or Ephesus.
We will be using their expert guides, based in Canakkale, whose experience and local knowledge guarantee a tour of the highest quality.
